Mathematics Department Overview

The mathematics department at COHS follows the New York State Curriculum.  New York State has recently changed the Regents exams in mathematics.  The new state exams given after one year of instruction are Integrated Algebra (I.A.), Geometry (Geo.), and Algebra 2/Trigonometry (Alg 2).

The following math courses are being taught at COHS for the 2010-2011 school year.  The NYS assessment for each course and the date that each class will take that particular assessment is listed (in parentheses) below the course.  If no state test is listed, the exam for that course is a local exam prepared by the teacher and given in June 2012.)

Any questions concerning the mathematics program at COHS should be directed to the Guidance Department or to Mrs. Janene Scanio of the Mathematics Department.
