HSA Events/Programs
Bingo & Bingo Kitchen
Sunday bingo is sponsored by HSA. Profits from bingo are given back to COHS. HSA sells food and refreshments during bingo, with profits used for the graduation reception and other events as needed. Working HSA bingo qualifies you to participate in the Franciscan program*.

Black & Gold Store
The COHS bookstore is run by volunteer alumni, parents, grandparents, and special friends. The bookstore offers COHS logo apparel, snacks, beverages, school supplies, and books. Summer reading materials are stocked as well, all with reasonable prices, often below 'list' prices. Gift certificates are available and make great birthday presents or stocking stuffers! During the holiday season, stop by the Black & Gold Store to purchase gifts for family and friends. More volunteers for the store are always welcome.

Phone Tree
HSA parent volunteers form the phone calling tree. The tree is utilized on an "as needed" basis to call family homes as the need arises by COHS and/or HSA. This is a great tool for reaching all COHS families. Volunteers are always welcome to be a caller for your child's class**.

Open House
HSA answers parent questions, serves refreshments, and operates the Black & Gold Store for prospective students during the Fall and Spring Open House events.

Freshman Orientation and Freshman Family Night
HSA offers a presentation that helps inform new COHS families about the school, in addition to HSA events and activities**.

Christmas Decorating Party
HSA purchases trees, ornaments, garland, tree skirts, and other Christmas decorations for placement across campus. During a special evening party, volunteers decorate the school and enjoy snacks and beverages. Celebrating the birth of Christ while decking the halls and spreading the holiday spirit throughout COHS is the goal of this fun evening. Bring the whole family!

Junior Ring Ceremony- December 1, 2011
Each year, COHS holds a Mass to celebrate the achievements of the Junior Class and to issue class rings. The sophomore class is responsible for a reception that follows the ceremony and Mass. The sophomore class supplies all hors d'oeuvres and workers**.

Greccio- December 14, 2011
An annual COHS tradition, the freshman class re-enacts the birth of Christ each December. HAS decorates, and provides the papers goods and beverages for the reception following the assembly.  Additionally, HSA prepares snack trays and hors d'oeuvres with help from the freshman class families. The freshman class supplies all hors d'oeuvres and workers**.

Theme Tray- February 3, 2012
The premier HSA fundraiser of the year, this fun event involves the sale of donated baskets supplied by COHS families, and the sale of dinners and refreshments. This one fundraiser supplies the majority of funds needed to pay for the many traditions HSA supports, as well as other COHS events. EACH FAMILY IS ASKED TO DONATE A THEMED BASKET (OR $20)**.

Father Merrick Scholarship
Each year, HSA gives one male and one female student a $300 scholarship,  as chosen by the Guidance Department, per the scholarship guidelines, in the memory of Father Merrick.

Graduation Reception- June 8, 2012
