COHS has an opening for a full-time Advancement Coordinator. This newly revamped position will assist both the advancement and admissions departments.
♦Assists in the everyday activities of the Advancement and Admissions Departments including; fundraising events, recruitment events, donor relations, communications, marketing and volunteer management, mailings and clerical work as needed.
♦Works with the Director of Recruitment to promote the school to prospective students and their families through on-site and community events.
♦Collaborates with the advancement team on marketing initiatives for the school website, social media presence and assist communication efforts on behalf of COHS including newsletters, fliers, collateral resources and programs. This includes conception, design and completion of the project.
♦Responsibility for organization and effective execution and monitoring of the donor database.
♦Assists with the development and execution of COHS Summer Camp series each year.
♦Develops and manages relationships with Cardinal O’Hara constituents.
♦Solicits gifts and in-kind donations as appropriate, in conjunction with the Director of Advancement.
♦Oversees the administrative assistant on clerical duties which include preparing and executing mailings, maintaining and ordering office supplies, assisting in other duties as necessary.
♦Completes other responsibilities as needed to meet the objectives and mission for Cardinal O’Hara High School.
—Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Business Management or related field; if no Bachelor’s degree must have five years of experience in related field.
—Preferably two-three years of experience and a proven track record in a position requiring development and advancement skills, marketing initiatives, project management including planning, implementation and follow-up.
—Demonstrated ability in written communication and presentation skill.
—Experience in a customer-service culture with outstanding customer service skills. Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and follow through.
—Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point.
—Experience with all platforms of social media ie: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc and virtual meeting programs.
—Familiarity with fundraising software, specifically Results Plus, and graphic design skills is a plus.

This full-time, evening position responsible for all aspects of building cleaning including classrooms, offices and restrooms. Additional responsibilities include complete floor care, windows, as well as light maintenance such as painting and gardening. Knowledge of athletic field maintenance a plus.
