Academic Scholarships
COHS offers academic scholarships to qualified incoming freshmen who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and service to the school community. Financial need is not a factor in determining scholarship eligibility.
In order to be considered for a scholarship, all students must complete a Scholarship Essay by selecting from one of the year’s topics.
Decisions on scholarship awards will be sent with acceptance letters and are based on this essay, the student’s results on the Entrance Exam, as well as their 6th, 7th, and 8th grade academic transcripts.
Scholarships range from $500/year to $6,000 year, and first, second, and third choice applicants are eligible for scholarships, but there is a limited amount of scholarships available and priority will be given to first choice applicants.
Scholarship essays for current 8th grade applicants must be completed and submitted prior to December 17, 2021.

Tuition Assistance
Limited financial assistance is available for parents experiencing difficulty meeting the cost of tuition. Eligibility is based on proven financial need as determined by the completed confidential tuition assistance form (FACTS). Due to limited availability, all necessary forms for the upcoming school year must be submitted before June 1st and are provided at registration.
Tuition assistance is determined by the overall household income and the number of dependents claimed on income taxes for the current year.
Families who qualify will earn 10%-25% off the net tuition.
Eligibility may change each year depending on income. Families must re-apply each year.
